In 6 weeks...
You will talk about your abortion with anyone in the world.
You will be seen and heard in a sisterhood and siblinghood.
You will create a new concept for connecting to your own pregnancy without shame, guilt, or fear.
You will be equipped to handle any thought or emotion you experience.
You will deepen your relationship with yourself, your loved ones, your lovers, and your haters.
You will identify exactly what would bring healing to your specific situation.
You will discover your own original vision for living an extraordinary life.
You will emerge with next steps to realize your vision and a supportive community to midwife your dreams into reality.
If all that sounds ridiculous, we get it, and we'll do our best to blow you away.
WEEK 1. AUTHENTICITY AS A WAY OF LIFE
The word "authenticity" gets a lot of play these days, but how do you know if you're being authentic, especially in a world where our unique personal experiences have been institutionalized? In this session, you'll discover the true meaning of authenticity, why it'll change your whole life, and exactly what it takes to become a next-level truth-teller, especially around your abortion. You'll also receive a set of morning and evening spiritual practices to carry you through the next six weeks (and the rest of your human life) as well as accountability in the private Facebook community. (So, like, if you've always wanted to meditate, and you've tried a bunch, but you kind of hate doing it, we've got you covered.)
WEEK 2. ROADMAP TO THE OTHER SIDE OF FEAR
The unifying theme in most abortion stories is fear. Money fears. Relationship fears. Reputation fears.
WEEK 3. THE METAPHYSICS OF FORGIVENESS
All forgiveness is self-forgiveness. It's a vital metaphysical tool for abundance and transformation in any area of your life. But how do you pull it off after an abortion? How do you get around all the social conditioning that tells us we ought to feel guilty forever or that we ought not feel guilty at all. What are some surprising manifestations of guilt that could be running your life? What do you do about that awful thing your partner said that you can't get out of your head? Or a mom who doesn't know what to say? How do you know if you have withheld forgiveness? What stops you from complete forgiveness? This session will open your heart and mind to a new possibility for your relationships--and equip you with the exact steps to take you there.
WEEK 4. GRIEF: THE SECRET MANIFESTATION TECHNIQUE
When you had an abortion, people expected you either to get over it yesterday or to never get over it, neither of which were conducive to living an extraordinary life. (Hot tip for those people: living an extraordinary life requires the full and complete expression of our emotions... in an appropriate container, of course.) It can also feel like nobody would understand if you told them what you were feeling. If you are in a heterosexual relationship, let's face it, your partner probably would like you to stop feeling sad. In this session, you'll discover way grief is among the most powerful spiritual tools for healing after abortion, physical beauty, being a magnet to everything your highest self desires, and following your gut.
WEEK 5. HOW TO TELL YOUR STORY WITHOUT LOSING YOUR POWER
Words create form. You will also receive information on how and where to share your story in public, if you're interested.
WEEK 6. YOUR REVOLUTION: A MANIFESTO
* If this program seems applicable to, oh, your entire life, that's because it is. The tools, techniques, and philosophies
* Note: content subject to change to meet needs of RAA participants.

Is this program pro-choice or pro-life?
Neither. While we are staunch supporters of reproductive justice, Revolution After Abortion stands for the possibility of a new future built on a foundation of infinite love... one that we believe people who have experienced abortion will design together.
Is this a religious program?
No. However, this course does rely on a metaphysical text called A Course in Miracles. A Course in Miracles is not a religion. It contains universal spiritual principles. It uses the word "God," but not in a religious way. One of the best lines: "God does not forgive because God has never condemned." The word "God" can be replaced in your mind with wording of your choosing, such as: trust, love, Dolly Parton, or anything else that works for you. If anything in this paragraph offended you, this program is probably not for you. And that's okay. We wish you the best finding a program and community you love!

WHO'S STEERING THIS SHIP?
You are. We are. There is no ship. But for all intents and purposes, I am. I'm Kassi. I am an author and a spiritual teacher. I published an essay about my abortion in The New York Times Modern Love column in 2011 and a memoir about my abortion titled May Cause Love in 2017 (HarperCollins). I set out on a spiritual adventure to understand my experience and my surprising emotions by participating in rituals in Buddhism, Catholicism, Judaism, with a New Age practitioner/astrologist, and with a grief therapist who ran one of Planned Parenthood's counseling departments, all of which I've spun together to create what I hope is a transformative experience for you. I also traveled the country with the pro-voice movement to teach nonviolent communication and advocated for people who've had abortions on MSNBC, NPR, Bust, and other media outlets. I am rooting for anyone who wants to share their story, whether in an Instagram post, with their mom, or on live television. On the academic and professional front, I taught writing and storytelling at Columbia University for three years and then pursued a Masters of Divinity from Harvard, with a focus on spiritual counseling and woman healers from Mary Magdalene to modern day priestesses. Based on thousands of hours of listening to people like you, I believe those of us who've experienced abortion know something very important about life on this planet, and I live for the times we come together and try to articulate exactly what it is.
"I terminated my pregnancy five years ago. I was 18. There was no one that I felt would relate, no one I felt safe enough to talk about it with, and there seemed to be nothing that would fill how empty I felt. The word 'abortion' made my stomach turn every time I heard it. I accepted it was just going to be a painful secret forever... and then I was introduced to Kassi and started reading May Cause Love.
Working with Kassi got me started on my own journey of healing. I have been able to talk about my own experience, feel reassured that I am not alone in this, and allow myself to feel emotions I had thought I wanted to avoid. Kassi helped me come up with new ways to think about my experience, and new ways to cope with my emotions. I now have constructive solutions to any negative feelings that come up. I hope that anyone who has had this experience feels encouraged and supported to start their own journey as well."
